Watching
What is Get Qurio?
Get Qurio is where we put our films: original animated stories about artificial intelligence and the people who live with it. There is no subscription. You buy each film once, paying what you want, and stream it from your account. The first 5 minutes of Two Futures · Part One are free to watch, no account needed.
How do I watch after I pay?
First you create a free account, so your copy is tied to you. After paying you land in My List and can start watching straight away; we also email you a link. Stream it in HD in your browser on any device, any time, from your account.
Can I download it?
No. Films on Get Qurio stream from your account, so there’s no file to download: sign in on any device and it’s there. A film plays on one screen at a time; press “Play here” on another device and it moves there. Each stream is faintly marked with your account, so please don’t share or record it.
Does it remember where I stopped?
Yes, on each device. Open the film again and choose “Resume” or “Start over”; the home page also shows it under Continue watching. While it plays, drag the progress bar to any moment, or skip 10 seconds back or forward.
What quality does it stream in?
Up to 1080p HD. The player picks the best quality your connection can keep up with and switches by itself; you can also choose 1080p or 720p in the player. On a slow connection or with data saver turned on, it starts in 720p.
What can I watch for free?
The free preview of Two Futures · Part One: the first 5 minutes of the movie, with no account and no card. We show it instead of a trailer. Everything free is on Free to watch.
Devices
Which devices can I watch on?
Any phone, tablet, laptop, desktop or TV with an up-to-date web browser: Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. There’s nothing to install. Casting, AirPlay and picture-in-picture are turned off for the films, so on a TV, open Get Qurio in the TV’s own browser.
How many screens can I watch on at once?
One at a time per account. If you start a film on another device, the first one shows “Watching on another device” with a “Play here” button to take it back. You can sign in on as many of your own devices as you like.
Can I add Get Qurio to my home screen?
Yes, and it then opens full screen like an app. On iPhone and iPad, open Get Qurio in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”. On Android, open the Chrome menu and choose “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
Can I use a keyboard or a TV remote?
Yes. Arrow keys move between titles and rows, Enter opens one, and Escape or Backspace goes back from the player. While a film plays: Space or K plays and pauses, ← and → skip 10 seconds, ↑ and ↓ change the volume, F is full screen and M mutes.
Payments & refunds
How much does a film cost?
You choose. Each film has a price “from” (for Two Futures · Part One, $1, with $3 suggested), and you pay once. There’s no subscription and nothing renews. Your support is what pays for the next film.
Can I buy from India or anywhere else?
Yes. The price is in US dollars and the checkout takes cards from almost every country; your bank converts it automatically.
Can I get a refund?
Payments go through Stripe, and so do refunds. If something went wrong, for example you were charged twice or a film won’t play on your devices, reply to your Stripe receipt email and tell us what happened. We’ll sort it out, with a refund where one is due. When a payment is refunded or disputed, the film leaves your list.
I paid, but the film isn’t in My List
Sign in with the account you bought it with and open My List; a payment that is still being confirmed shows there as “Finishing your purchase”, with “Check again”. Paid with a different email? Confirm the email on your account, then choose “Restore purchases” in My List: it finds payments made with that address. Still missing? Reply to your Stripe receipt email.
Account & privacy
Why do I need an account?
It’s how your copy finds you again: log in on your phone, laptop or TV browser and the movie is there. We keep your name, email, sign-up country, sign-in dates and purchase record, and nothing for ads or tracking. If you delete your account, we erase your name and keep the rest of that record: your email, whether it was confirmed, your sign-up country, and your sign-up and last log-in dates, even if you never bought anything. If you did buy, we also keep the purchase records, including the email you paid with, but no longer tied to an account, because accounting rules require them. See Privacy for the full list.
How do I delete my account?
Sign in, open Account from the menu under your initials, and choose Delete account. You’re signed out everywhere, and films you bought can’t be watched any more unless you restore them with a new account using the same email.
Do you use cookies or trackers?
Only three essential cookies that keep you signed in and let the player stream to one device at a time. No analytics, no advertising and no cookie banner. Privacy lists everything we store.
What emails will you send me?
Only these. For your account: the 6-digit codes to confirm your email or reset your password, and “your movie is ready” after you buy. If you join the Get Qurio Studio early-access interest list: one email with a link to confirm it, a delete link if you ask for one, and, once you’ve confirmed, emails about Get Qurio Studio and nothing else. No newsletters or ads. Privacy has the details.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in page, choose “Forgot password?” and we’ll email you a 6-digit code to set a new one.
The films
Do I need to have seen Seasons 1 and 2?
No. Two Futures · Part One tells the whole story from the beginning. The seasons are free on our YouTube channel if you want more.
Is there a Part Two?
Yes, it’s coming. We’ll announce it when it’s ready, and buying Part One is the best way to help make it happen.
Is this a true story?
It’s inspired by real events in AI. The yellow “REAL” cards in the film are true; all labs, AI models and characters are fictional.
Can I make a film like this?
Not yet, but we’re working on it. We made Two Futures · Part One with our own AI pipeline, and we’re deciding whether to open it up as Get Qurio Studio. Make a film has the early-access interest list: tell us what you’d make. It’s a list, not a store: nothing to buy and no date promised.
Who is it for?
Two Futures · Part One is rated 13+. It is animated, in English, and runs about an hour.
